Pino Regina

Born in Grumo Appula, Bari, Italy, in 1946.  I studied at the Tecnico Professionale of Bari and emigrated to Canada in 1967.  I established myself in the West End of the City of Winnipeg.

Here, I met my lifelong companion, Rosa De Nora with whom I had three children with.

Until 1995, I worked as a high pressure welder and pipe fitter, but for health reasons I stopped working; and this is the time when I started to rediscover my talent to create art with the materials I loves to mold; IRON!

My works of art evokes that of the Florentine Artist of every Epoque, but I bring to it a touch of modernism.  Every piece speaks of my emotional and spiritual journey and has been a true labor of love.
